Antique frames are becoming more and more sort after and therefore becoming more and more valuable. The old frames are very delicate and become damaged over time, the material they are made from dries out over time pieces from them are knocked off and lost, we can repair and refinish those pieces.
In the case of a frame being badly damaged, falling of the wall for example, always collect as much of the broken pieces as possible and save them, it may look a hopeless mess but those are valuable pieces, they are original, and if they can be saved they will not have to be remade, and refinished, saving time and cost.
If we are able to see the work we can give an estimate of the cost of repair. In some cases we can give an estimate from good photographs.
